What do you want to know?

By the time you graduate from Columbia College Chicago what would you like to know? What sort of truth are you seeking out? How do you know when something that you have learned is true or authentic?

I would like to learn more about film and how things are made, more in depth. I also want to become a better writer and to improve my writing skills and oraganizing skills. Also I would like to improve explaining my ideas more. I'm seeking out to find if this is what I really want to do here at Columbia. I'm hoping to find and learn more about what it takes to be a film major, and how to succeed at it.

I would like to know more about the marketing world and advertising world of the arts. Whether I change majors or stick with it I just want to be successful. I'll know when something I learned is true and authentic when it is useful. I'm seeking knowledge and new skills.

By the time I graduate from Columbia College Chicago I wish to know entirely about management. I want to know, understand, and achieve success. I am looking for success inside and outside of school, but I am also looking to make lifelong friends. I am seeking out the truth about my internal self and my major. I know something is true and authentic when there is factual proof of a statement.

By the time i graduate from Columbia I would like to know more about my major. I would like to become more advanced in my skills so that I will be better prepared for my career as an recording artist. I dont know what im seeking as of yet but im hoping that soon enough I will find out what im actually looking for. The best things come when you arent looking for them. You know when something is true because its a gut feeling that you have that always sticks.

My main attraction to Columbia is to obtain the skills to become a professional musician. From coming to open houses, orientations, and etc, I've found that Columbia is really going to challenge me. It's not hard choice to make either I want success or not, and the thing I like about Columbia or college itself is that it really shows who you are and what you want for yourself, it really makes you ask yourself what do I want and will I do all that i have to so i can get what I want.

What I wish to know by the time I graduate from Columbia College Chicago is to know to improve my skills in film making. I also hope to know how to let the crowds understand the messages of them, both large and small. The truth that I'm seeking to have the ablity to speak to people without words in the films like using symbolism. I feel like I know the truth when I can tell by understanding the full meaning, as in the bad and the good behind it. when I'm able to understand the impact it has upon myself, I feel like I have learned the truth.

When i graduate from Columbia College i hope that i will recieve all of the tools and knowledge i will need to achieve my goals. I plan to become a professional dancer and open a dance company in the future. Knowing authethic verses truth is simple yet hard. Being authentic is something you can make its not a feeling but when you feel something and its right you wil know its the Truth.

I really hope to gain as much knowlege as i can about film. Since i was young its all i've wanted to do, and now im here. Hopefully i can get past the nervousness of living here, away from home, away from all of my friends and set out for what i've always wanted to do while still staying in touch with where i came from. I simply want to be successful and happy with what i do and who i am, and im hoping Columbia can do that for me.
